Can you worm a dog that has just had puppies, and is still nursing them?

There are wormers that are safe for pregnant and nursing moms. They have to be given in the proper dose and given for the correct parasites. (There is no "gets everything" worm treatment). Many people do not know that some wormers could harm the puppies and mom. That is why they need to consult with their veterinarian.
